A food fight with a different flavor, Daily Press - September 8, 2008
"Gourmet specialty store Trader Joe's will open its second Peninsula store on Sept. 26 in the New Town development in James City. Right down the road, Wal-Mart recently purchased land for its second Neighborhood Market in Virginia, slated to open next summer with 100 jobs... The spending power of Williamsburg-area residents has continued to attract retail developments like New Town and High Street. Despite the bevy of high-end grocery choices relative to the rest of the Peninsula, the area will still add two more in the next year. The region also had the only two Peninsula Food Lion conversions to Bloom."
